Billboard Featuring Diwata and a Partylist
DIWATA – The social media personality whose real name is Deo Balbuena drew attention by showcasing a billboard featuring a partylist group. The billboard represents Malu Lipana and Lorenz Pesigan’s vendors partylist, and Diwata expressed his appreciation for being featured, noting how unexpected and touching it is to see himself on such a prominent display.
This visibility has led to speculation about whether Diwata might be pursuing a seat in Congress. While it remains unclear if he will be included among the partylist’s nominees, his involvement has generated mixed reactions from netizens. Some believe that Diwata, due to his experience with his Paresan business, would be a suitable representative for vendors. In contrast, others question his suitability for a legislative role based on his educational background.
“Ang laki ng billboard dito guys. So ayan, nakakatouch nga lang diba? Kasi sino ba naman mag-aakala na malalagay na tayo sa mga daanan na nakikita talaga ng tao. Sino ba naman ako para ilagay sa billboard? Kaya naman naaappreciate ko yung effort dyan. Maraming salamat!” he said.
As of now, Diwata has not responded to the speculation regarding a potential congressional bid, leaving his political ambitions uncertain. The online discussion continues as people weigh in on his possible future in politics.
