CARLA ABELLANA – The actress is currently hospitalized and has asked her Instagram followers for prayers for a speedy recovery.
Carla Abellana, whose real name is Carla Angeline Reyes Abellana, is an actress and model. She is the daughter of actor Rey “PJ” Abellana and Rea Reyes, and the granddaughter of veteran actress Delia Razon. Carla graduated cum laude from De La Salle University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology.
Carla began her career in modeling for TV commercials and later transitioned into acting. She gained prominence after being cast in the lead role of the Philippine adaptation of the Mexican telenovela Rosalinda in 2009. Since then, she has starred in various television dramas, including Sine Novela: Basahang Ginto, Kung Aagawin Mo Ang Langit, My Husband’s Lover, and Love of My Life. In 2023, she took on her first villainous role in the series Stolen Life.
Throughout her career, Carla has also worked as a host for several television shows and pageants and has appeared in films such as Mamarazzi, My Neighbor’s Wife, and Shake, Rattle & Roll XII. She continues to be a prominent figure in Philippine entertainment as a talent of GMA Network and Triple A Management.

She shared photos showing an IV drip and a thermometer reading 39.6°C, expressing her pain and discomfort with a heartfelt plea for healing. “Lord, please, heal me. I’ve been in so much pain and discomfort,” she said.
The comments section of her post was filled with concern from netizens. In a follow-up post, Carla reported some improvement, mentioning that she managed to sleep for three hours straight. She expressed gratitude with a simple message, “Last night i was able to sleep for 3 hours straight. THANK YOU, Lord.”
