Dionesia Pacquiao Gives Advice to Carlos Yulo Regarding His Mother Angelica

Dionesia Pacquiao to Carlos Yulo: “Mahalin mo ang nanay mo”

Dionesia Pacquiao – The mother of boxing legend Manny Pacquiao offered advice to Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo, who has been embroiled in public family issues.

Carlos accused his parents, particularly his mother, of draining his bank accounts without permission, leading him to distance himself from them and move in with his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose. Dionesia, following the situation closely, felt compelled to share motherly advice with the young athlete.

In a video, Dionesia Pacquiao urged Carlos to love his mother, Angelica Yulo, and to avoid holding grudges. She emphasized that his mother loves him deeply and encouraged Carlos to reciprocate that love wholeheartedly. Dionesia’s advice highlighted the importance of family ties, especially between a mother and son.

“Dong Carlos Yulo… mahalin mo ang nanay mo wag kang magtanim [o] magkimkim ng sama ng loob. Mahal na mahal ka ng mama mo. Mahalin mo siya ng lubusan,” she said. “Bilang nanay eh mahal na mahal ka niya. Yan ang payo ko sayo,” she added.

This situation drew parallels to Manny Pacquiao’s own experience with his mother. In a past interview, Manny revealed that when he first started dating his wife, Jinkee, Dionesia did not approve of her. Despite this, Manny worked hard to bridge the gap between his mother and his future wife, eventually leading to a harmonious relationship.

As of press time, Carlos Yulo has not yet met his mom to resolve their personal matters. Despite what’s happening in their family, he is still being supported by his father. In fact, during the parade of Olympians, his father, Mark Andrew Yulo, joined the crowd welcoming the athletes.

Carlos, on the other hand, acknowledged his father and expressed his interest in seeing his family soon. “Thank you so much, Pa, I am happy to have seen you there showing support! Sorry for not being able to wave that much, so many were asking for an autograph hehe. See you soon, Pa,” he noted.
