Anthony Taberna and Gerry Baja signs contract with DZRH
Kapuso broadcast journalist Arnold Clavio congratulated Anthony Taberna and Gerry Baja after the two officially became part of DZRH as they sign a contract with the Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC).
On Thursday, August 20, Anthony and Gerry signed a contract with MBC.
The title of their then DZMM radio program, Dos Por Dos, which lasted more than seventeen years, will also be retained.
On their Instagram, the two shared photos taken at the contract signing with MBC executives.
Anthony Taberna posted, “Bagong bahay ng Dos Por Dos. It’s official, nagkapirmahan na! Salamat sa pamilya DZRH ng Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC) sa naglalagblab na pagtanggap. Dos Por Dos sa DZRH, susunod na!!!”
Gerry Baja’s short post on his Instagram, “FLASH REPORT! Dospordos at MBC DZRH Management, nagkapirmahan na!!”
According to PEP.ph, immediately congratulatory messages poured in from the friends of the two.
Among those who greeted them were their former ABS-CBN colleagues Amy Perez and Bianca Gonzalez, Kapuso broadcaster Arnold Clavio, and former senator JV Ejercito.
Anthony Taberna and Gerry Baja’s program said goodbye to DZMM on July 31, after more than seventeen years of broadcasting.
Anthony Taberna and Gerry Baja were affected by the retrenchment of ABS-CBN, the parent company of DZMM, after Congress rejected their franchise application on July 10, 2020.
