4th Impact dismissed the false claims circulating about them
4TH IMPACT – The all-female Pinoy pop group has dismissed false claims circulating on social media that they have declared themselves the “Blackpink” of the Philippines and criticized the vocal abilities of BINI.
The rumors, spread by a source named “Analyn Restricted,” falsely attribute statements to 4th Impact, suggesting they claim superiority over BINI and boast about their own vocal skills.
The misleading posts included statements like, “Yes, we love BINI. They are like the TWICE of the Philippines, and we’re the BLACKPINK of the Philippines because we’re FOUR,” and “Puro kayo BINI. Don’t sleep on our talents, please. Mas stable pa nga ang vocals namin kaysa sa kanila, and we know how to whistle.”
4th Impact has publicly clarified that they did not make these statements and has warned that they will pursue legal action against those spreading these false accusations. They urged the public to stop the dissemination of these untrue claims. The group also recently expressed their interest in collaborating with BINI, a group they have previously worked with.
Meanwhile, 4th Impact is an all-female musical group consisting of sisters Almira, Irene, Mylene, and Celina Cercado. The group first gained recognition by winning the World Championships of Performing Arts in 2006 and 2013. They gained further prominence in 2014 by competing on the South Korean talent show Superstar K6, where they reached the eighth position. Their notable appearance on The X Factor UK in 2015, where they performed “Bang Bang,” earned them widespread attention despite their elimination in the quarter-finals.
Following their X Factor appearance, 4th Impact embarked on The X Factor Live Tour and released their debut single, “Unleash The Diva.” They have performed internationally at various festivals and collaborated with global artists. Their activities include recording theme songs for films and engaging in livestreaming and creating digital content.
