MEDWIN MARFIL – The lead singer of True Faith exchanged vows with his partner, Mark Angeles, in an intimate ceremony held in California, USA.
Marfil shared the news on his Instagram page on May 15, choosing to keep the specifics of their wedding brief. The post featured the couple radiating happiness in matching attire against the backdrop of Rockaway Beach in Pacifica, California, on May 11, 2024. Marfil’s caption, adorned with ring emojis, commemorated the special occasion and hinted at their wedding date.

Angeles, currently residing in San Francisco, California, works at the University of California San Francisco Parnassus Campus. His educational background includes studies at Colegio de San Juan de Letran and Don Bosco Technical Institute Makati campus in the Philippines, where he previously lived before relocating to the US.
Meanwhile, True Faith is a Filipino band formed in 1991, originating from Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. They gained popularity for their music blending elements of Pinoy rock, alternative rock, pop rock, and OPM (Original Pilipino Music). Led by lead singer Medwin Marfil, True Faith rose to prominence with hits like “Perfect,” “Sumasarap ang Gising,” and “Dedma.”
The band’s name was inspired by New Order’s 1987 hit single “True Faith,” indicating their roots in new wave music.
