Yasser Marta Speaks on Real Score with Claudine Barretto
YASSER MARTA – The Boys of Summer member denied that he and Optimum Star Claudine Barretto had a romantic relationship.
One of the most popular actresses in the Philippine entertainment industry is Optimum Star Claudine Barretto. She is in the industry for several decades now although there were years when was quite inactive in her career as she focused on being a mother.
Claudine has four (4) children — Sabina, Santino, Quia, and Noah. Santino is her biological son with her ex-husband, actor Raymart Santiago. However, they separated. Both Sabina and Santino are living with Claudine even after the separation and the actress welcomed two (2) more kids in her home.
Undeniably, many of the highlights in the career of Claudine Barretto involves her loveteam with the late actor Rico Yan. They became real life lovers but he died in March 2022 while in a vacation in El Nido, Palawan with some friends. Until now, she is vocal about her undying love for Rico.
Amid Claudine Barretto being single now, there were speculations that linked her to 27-year-old actor, Yasser Marta. He is one of the members of Boys of Summer which is under Sparkle. Recently, the young actor and model appeared as guest on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda where he cleared up speculations about the real score between him and the Optimum Star.
When asked by host Boy Abunda if he and Claudine Barretto had a romantic relationship, Yasser Marta answered in the negative. But, the young actor admitted that he fell in love with the Optimum Star.
“Sino bang hindi mahuhulog din? Isang Miss Claudine Barretto, di ba?” Yasser said.
The young actor further described the actress as very sweet and beautiful. According to him, everything that you can wish for is already in her.
“And ako, kung maibabalik ko lang yung panahon dati na sabay kaming nandito sa industriya, sana maibalik ko yon,” he expressed.
Yasser Marta and Claudine Barretto worked together in Lovers/Liars which is a drama series under the Regal Entertainment Inc. which was aired in GMA-7 from November 20, 2023 until January 11, 2024.
