Kind-Hearted Teacher Prepares Lechon Manok for Students’ Lunch at School

Kind-Hearted Teacher Provides Lechon Manok for Lunch of Students

A kind-hearted teacher earns praise from the internet users after providing lechon manok for the lunch of his students at school.

Recently, the Facebook page “Jerics Channel” shares heartwarming video of Teacher Jeric and a fellow educator preparing lunch for the students. The video touches the hearts of the online community.

In the video, Teacher Jeric greeted the children warmly before distributing the savory dish to those in need. It can be noticed that some students arrived at school without packed lunches, while others had only eggs and fish as their meals.

The contents of the students’ lunch boxes revealed the challenges they face, particularly those living in rural areas.

Aside from providing lunch, Teacher Jeric also ensured that the students had a comfortable break, allowing them to rest from 12 noon until 1 pm. During this time, he would set up snacks on the tables for the children to enjoy upon waking.

Teacher Jeric reminisced that students back then were pairing dried fish, sometimes just salt, sometimes nothing at all. Some of them go to school with empty stomachs due to the hardships we face.

He also emphasized the impact of his actions, stating that about 75 percent of children in the mountains lack a viand, or side dish, to accompany their rice.

Additionally, Teacher Jeric mentioned that he is the official endorser of the coffee featured in the video, which is consumed daily by the students.

The video has a caption:

Ano ang ulam ng mga estudyante sa bundok?

Ang ulam ko noon ay minsan tuyo, minsan asin, minsan wala talaga. Papasok ng walang laman ang tiyan dahil sa hirap ng buhay. Gaya din ng pamumuhay sa bundok na akong tinuturuan, mahihirap din ang mga tao dito pero nagsisikap sila. Its always been a big fulfillment to help these people especially children who need basic food for their education. As per estimation, 75 percent of children living in the mountain has no viand as partner for their rice. Salamat sa Diyos at akoy naging instrumento sa pagbibigay ng inspirasyon sa mga bata, ang maging isang mabuting halimbawa sa pangalan ng kindness.

I am the official endorser of the coffee that was featured in this video. Ito din ay araw-araw na consumption sa mga bata.”
