Former Goin Bulilit star John Manalo took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter wherein he slammed those who hate ABS-CBN than PhilHealth.
The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) is in hot water following allegations of corruption thrown at the state-run insurance firm.
This was after resigned PhilHealth anti-fraud legal officer Thorrsson Montes Keith revealed in a Senate hearing that a whopping P15 billion worth of funds have been pocketed by the officials in a “syndicate-like” transactions within the agency.
According to him, the scheme includes the procurement of “overpriced” information and communication technology equipment.
Many have reacted on the issue within PhilHealth and among who earlier reacted is actor John Manalo who drawn a comparison between ABS-CBN and PhilHealth.
“Yung mas galit ka pa sa ABS-CBN kesa sa PhilHealth,” he wrote.
His statement on Twitter is currently making rounds online garnering mixed reactions from the netizens.
It was on July 10 when the country’s largest broadcasting network finally shut down after the congress voted to deny its franchise application.
John Manalo rose to fame in the long-running Kapamilya kiddie gag show “Goin ‘Bulilit.”
But his acting skills became more prominent when he appeared in various episodes of “Maalaala Mo Kaya.”
