Here’s the reaction of Neil Coleta to the linking of Andrea Brillantes in the alleged KathNiel breakup.
NEIL COLETA – The actor gave his reaction to the linking of Andrea Brillantes in the alleged breakup of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, popularly known as KathNiel.
Andrea’s name has been dragged into the rumored breakup of KathNiel since Ogie Diaz disclosed that a source told him that she and DJ are secretly seeing each other. Then, speculations about them were fueled after Kathryn unfollowed Andrea on Instagram. After some time, the young actress did the same.
Because of this, netizens assumed that there was indeed something going on regarding the relationship between Kathryn and Daniel. Apparently, the parties involved have yet to address the issue. Some celebrities have reacted to the pressing issue, and among them is Neil Coleta, a close friend of KathNiel.
According to him, he feels sad about the issues swirling around. “Actually, nalungkot ako kung anuman yung mga nababasa ko, at yung mga namba-bash sa kanila and everything,” Neil said. “Siyempre, sa part ko bilang kaibigan, kumpare, kumare ko pa parehas, ninong at ninang ng anak ko, so nalungkot ako.”
In an interview with PEP.ph, he was asked for an opinion about the rumored involvement of Andrea in the breakup, making her the alleged third party. “Yung kay Andrea, hindi ko alam, wala akong idea talaga. Pero naririnig ko, nababasa ko.”
His statements make it clear that he neither confirms nor denies any of the issues surrounding Daniel and Kathryn. Neil stressed that he doesn’t want to preemptively speak for the two, especially for Daniel.
In the same interview, Neil gave a message to Kathryn and Daniel. He wishes that they overcome whatever challenges their relationship is facing right now. “Heto lang masasabi ko sa kumare at kumpare ko, kumbaga, problema lang yan, maganda ang na-build ninyo. Sana huwag masayang. Kung kaya pang ayusin, sana maayos.”
