The Department of Health (DOH) reported new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the Philippines as of July 26, 2020.
According to DOH’s COVID-19 Case Bulletin #134 dated July 26, 2020, the Department of Health reported 2,110 new coronavirus cases. This brought the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus disease to 80,448.
However, the Department of Health didn’t report the fresh and late cases, instead, the DOH stated that the newly-confirmed cases on Sunday were reported based on the total tests done by 66 out of 90 current operational laboratories.

Aside from the number of confirmed cases, the Department of Health also reported 382 new recoveries and 39 additional fatalities. This brought the total number of recoveries to 26,110 and total coronavirus deaths to 1,932.
Moreover, the Department of Health reported 52,406 total active cases as stated in its COVID-19 Case Bulletin #134 dated July 26, 2020.
The Department of Health identified the top five areas with the highest number of new coronavirus cases as of July 26 only: Metro Manila with 1,345 new cases, Cebu with 304 new cases, Laguna with 109 new cases, Negros Occidental with 66 new cases, and Rizal with 40 new cases.
