Samsung started pre-order reservations ahead of its launch event.
GALAXY UNPACKED 2020 — Samsung recently started accepting pre-order reservations ahead of its upcoming online-only launch event.
This, as the company was about to host its online-only launch event which will happen on August 5, 2020.
Based on a report on 9to5Google, the pre-order reservations for the said smartphone also give them a USD 50 “instant credit” that could be used towards other products of Samsung.
Although there’s no obligation if they decided not to buy the said smartphone, putting down their names and e-mail addresses helped ensure that they would be able to get their pre-order.

As seen on its website, customers can register for a slot in order to ensure that they will get a pre-order for Samsung’s upcoming device, the Galaxy Note 20.
In order for them to have their reservation slots in, customers must encode their name, e-mail address, and ZIP code. They could reserve a smartphone until August 4, 2020.
As per the report, the USD 50 credit will not expire for a few months, adding that the USD 50 credit can’t be applied to the smartphone itself.
