One of the owners of the vandalized private resort in Laguna reveals undergoing chemotherapy
FOR CHEMOTHERAPY? – One of the owners of a private resort, which was vandalized by a group of employees, cannot hide their feeling of dismay due to the potential expenses they might incur in order to replace the items thrown by their guests.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, the resort owner who goes by the alias ‘Lani’ said that instead of using the earnings from their resort for her chemotherapy, she will now have to spend it to repair the damages caused by the mentioned group. “Imbis na magpapagamot ko, ipang-aayos ‘ko pa ng resort,” said Lani.
On the other hand, another resort owner shared that the group who damaged their property paid P30,000 in exchange. The latter has forgiven the group and promises not to file a complaint against them.
The private resort owner agreed and chose to forgive them instead of pursuing legal action. The resort owner is also hopeful that the group will issue a public apology to express remorse for their wrongdoing.
To recall, it was just recently when the owner of Jeremias Triplex Resort in Calamba, Laguna took to social media to express her frustration over the damage caused by the people who rented their place. On Facebook, she posted a video showing a messy bathroom, a party area filled with garbage, and the pool with tables, bottles, and even a water dispenser floating in it.
Samsung Electro-Mechanics Philippines, the company where the people who rented their place are working, issued a statement regarding the incident. Apparently, the company distanced itself from the actions of its workers. The company also stressed that the outing was not sponsored by them.
Motivational speaker Rendon Labador reacted to the “pambababoy” of the guests. According to him, the company should have also extended help to the owner/s of the private resort since their business was forced to stop due to the incident.
