Gina Alajar: “Mas madali kasing makatrabaho ang isang artista na kasundo ang lahat”
GINA ALAJAR – The “Monday First Screening” actress recently shared the lessons she learned in career, love, and life.
The veteran actress is one of the stars in “Monday First Screening” alongside Ricky Davao. She previously starred in the Kapuso adaptation of the 2020 hit Korean series “Start-Up” as Lola Joy.
Gina appeared on Monday’s episode of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda where she opened up about the lessons she learned not only in her career in the showbiz industry but also in life and love.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, Gina said that the lesson she learned in her career as an actress for 55 years is that it’s important to be kind to all her fellow co-actors and media workers. When asked if it’s more important than having a talent, she answered in the affirmative.
When it comes to love, the veteran actress said that the lessons she learned is that one shouldn’t be in a hurry and one shouldn’t let his/her heart or feelings rule him/her because feelings change.
“Dapat talaga, ang papairalin mo ay isip and directions from God at dapat alam mo kung saang path yung gustong i-give ka ng Panginoon,” Gina said.
She also said that the lesson she learned in life, in general, is the “golden rule” – “Huwag mong gawin sa kapwa ang ayaw mong gawin sa’yo”.
In the same interview, Gina told Boy Abunda that acting can definitely be learned over time but an inborn talent is a “bonus”. She shared that it’s easier to work with an artist who gets along with everyone.
