Get to know more about Zombie Tugue
ZOMBIE TUGUE – The latest addition to Dabarkads had been gaining popularity among E.A.T viewers.
Tugue, also known as Daniel Oke, hailed from Nigeria. He has been living in the Philippines for several years already. He went to the country to study.
As a content creator, Zombie already had a following, but his fame grew even more after he joined E.A.T. His life took a significant turn when he became a participant in the “Babala! ‘Wag Kayong Ganuun…” segment of E.A.T on July 13, 2023. Now, he appears daily in the “Sugod Bahay Mga Kapatid” segment of the TV5 noontime show, alongside Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola, forming the trio JoWaZom (Jose, Wally, Zombie).
During an interview on Julius Babao’s vlog on August 3, 2023, Zombie shared his journey and how he ended up in the Philippines. According to him, he chose the screen name “Zombie” because he sees zombies as persevering and focused beings, just like him.
It was his father’s friend who suggested that he should be studying here in the Philippines, which led him to apply for a visa and pursue his education here. Zombie studied nursing and had plans to pursue medicine and become a doctor after graduation.
However, his passion for content creation grew, and he decided to pursue that path. While his family initially opposed his decision to become a content creator, they eventually supported him, seeing how happy it made him.
