Here’s a statement from South African Foreign Affairs Minister Naledi Pandor regarding the death of Zindzi Mandela.
Naledi Pandor, the Foreign Affairs Minister at South Africa, issued an official statement announcing the death of Nelson Mandela’s daughter Zindzi Mandela.
This, after Zindzi Mandela, the daughter of Winnie Madikizela – Mandela and Nelson Mandela, died at the age of 59. Zindzi’s cause of death wasn’t revealed as of this writing.

As obtained by the Associated Press, Naledi Pandor described Zindzi in his statement as a “heroine”.
She also said that Zindzi Mandela would not only be remembered as a daughter of their struggle heroes — “Tata” Nelson Mandela and “Mama” Winnie Mandela — but also be remembered as “a struggle heroine in her own right”.
Moreover, Pandor said that Zindzi served South Africa “well”.

Aside from him, the President of South Africa also released his official statement as he announced the death of Nelson Mandela’s daughter.
As obtained by CNN, the office of South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said in a statement that he’s “deeply saddened” by Zindzi’s death, adding that he offered his deep condolences to her bereaved family as the office of the President mourned the passing of what he described Zindzi as “a fearless political activist” who became a leader in her own right.
