Here’s a statement from South African President Cyril Ramaphosa regarding the death of Zindzi Mandela.
Cyril Ramaphosa, the President of South Africa, issued an official statement announcing the death of Nelson Mandela’s daughter Zindzi Mandela.
This, after Zindzi Mandela, the daughter of Winnie Madikizela – Mandela and Nelson Mandela, died at the age of 59. Zindzi’s cause of death wasn’t revealed as of this writing.

In a statement that was obtained by CNN, the office of South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said that he’s “deeply saddened” by Zindzi’s death.
He also said that he offered his deep condolences to Zindzi’s bereaved family as the office of the President mourned the passing of what he described as “a fearless political activist” who became a leader in her own right.
Moreover, Ramaphosa said that their sadness was compounded by this loss being visited upon them just days before commemorating the birthday of Zindzi’s father, Nelson Mandela.

Meanwhile, the South African Department of International Relations and Cooperation said that Nelson Mandela’s daughter died at a Johannesburg hospital. The cause of Zindzi’s death, however, wasn’t revealed as of this writing.
Moreover, the Mandela family released a statement saying that they will announce the schedule of memorial service and funeral arrangements “in the course of the week”.
