Maria Taniegra Argente, the mother of stand-up comedian Kim Idol, took to the social networking platform, Facebook wherein she paid tribute to her late son who passed away earlier today.
On Monday, July 13, the 41-year-old comedian died at the Manila Central University Hospital in Caloocan City after days of battling AVM or brain arteriovenous malformation.
It was on Thursday, July 9, when he was rushed to a hospital after being found unconscious in the Philippine Arena-which was temporarily turned into a quarantine facility for COVID-19 patients.
He was on duty as marshal of the Bureau of Quarantine at the Philippine Arena when he had AVM or brain arteriovenous malformation.
According to PEP.ph, Kim Idol has not regained consciousness since he was taken to the hospital so his family and friends asked for prayers.
Meanwhile, Kim Idol’s mother went to Facebook to share the sad news about her son’s death. She, later on, paid tribute to her late child.

“Magandang alaala ang iniwan mo anak lalo na sa mga Covid Victim na pinasaya mo inawitan mo.
Sabi mo bumilis ang kanilang paggaling kasi nawawala ang kanilang lungkot hindi mo lang alam ang takot ni mama pero dahil gusto mo nga mag work bilang Frontliner pumayag na si mama.
Sobrang saya mo ng ibalita mo sakin na kahit nakasalamuha mo sila negative result mo.
Sobrang Proud ako sayo anak maraming sumasaludo sayo, para sa akin anak isa kang bayani.”
