Charlene Gonzalez: “It was truly a happy and memorable day”
CHARLENE GONZALEZ – The former beauty queen recently shared that she finished this year’s Boston Marathon and also received a medal.
The wife of actor Aga Muhlach posted a series of videos on her social media account and also shared her marathon journey in Massachusetts.
She first shared a video where she received a medal after finishing this year’s Boston Marathon. According to her, Boston Marathon is not only one of the “most hilly world major marathon” she had done thus far but also “one of the most beautiful views and crowd support”.
In a separate post, she posted a video and also shared her marathon journey after finishing the race.
Charlene shared that it was the first time she had no base training and went straight to marathon training of 3-4 month. According to her, she was dealing with an injury on her last month and that lead her to skip some training sessions.
“I ran with an injury today & in the beginning of the race today.. my nutrition/hydration fell and got lost on the course,” she said. “I was praying the whole time, for the utmost safety & I thank God.. for pulling me through. All glory to God almighty.”

She also said that she’s very happy to have been able to finish this year’s Boston Marathon.
Charlene received messages of support from celebrities in the comments section of her post – including Pia Wurtzbach, Aiko Melendez, and Dingdong Dantes.
Her husband also commented on her post by congratulating her after finishing the race and receiving a medal. “Done! Congratulations my love!” Aga said along with a heart emoji and three applause emojis.
The former beauty queen was part of the team that ran for the Hopkinton Center for the Arts. Also, they partnered with a local counterpart Give and Gain.
