After her daughter’s heartwarming video goes viral on TikTOk, newbie food vlogger Tatay Dioscoro gains more subscribers on YouTube
TATAY DIOSCORO- A novice food vlogger gained more subscribers after she uploaded a heartwarming video of him on TikTok.
It was on March 6 when Eden Padel, a native of Mandaue City, Cebu took to video-sharing platform, TikTok when she posted a video of her father.
According to her via interview with Philippine Star, it wasn’t her intention to upload a video of her father. She shared that before heading to school, she saw her father fixing his vlogging stick and telling her that he would start vlogging.
She found his excitement amusing, and that’s why she decided to take a video of him. She further revealed that she created Tatay Dioscoro’s YouTube channel (CookedTime!) in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, but it was only this year that Tatay Dioscoro went all in for his vlog. As of posting, the food vlogger dad has already earned more 29K subscribers.
Tatay Dioscoro, feeling like a Gen Z, tries to keep up with the trend and follow what’s popular. When he started vlogging, Eden knew that it was what he genuinely wanted to do. Tatay Dioscoro was thrilled when he discovered that he had thousands of followers. He felt happy and motivated to continue vlogging and sharing his recipes. Tatay Dioscoro believed that his purpose might be to share his 2,000 recipes in his head, and his goal was to make it come true.
Aside from shooting for more than an hour or two, Tatay Dioscoro worked on the video’s editing all by himself, not wanting to disturb his family. Sometimes, he worked on vlogging at night, depending on his availability. Tatay Dioscoro wants to inspire others not to give up on their dreams, especially on vlogging.
