Beatbox performer humiliated by talent show host
BEATBOXER – The host of local talent show was heavily criticized after making fun of a beatbox performer.
Beatboxing is a unique art form that involves creating music using only the mouth, lips, tongue, and voice. The beatboxer uses their mouth as an instrument to mimic the sound of a drum kit, bass guitar, or other musical instruments. Beatboxing has its roots in hip hop culture, and it has since evolved into a popular form of music and entertainment.
Beatboxing is a challenging art form that requires a lot of skill and practice. A skilled beatboxer can create complex rhythms and sounds that can rival those produced by traditional instruments. Beatboxers use a variety of techniques to create different sounds, such as clicking, hissing, and popping.
One of the most impressive things about beatboxing is its versatility. It can be used in a variety of musical genres, from hip hop to electronic music, and even classical music. Beatboxers can perform solo or collaborate with other musicians to create a unique sound.
Beatboxing is frequently featured in talent shows. A local talent show called Anilag Got Talent was recently held, and one of the contestants was Jerico Flores a.k.a. Joker Beat. But the show became controversial following the rude comments of the host identified as Linus Van Plata against the Filipino beatboxer.
The talent show host claimed that no other contestant wanted to use their microphone anymore after being used by the beatbox artist. “Wala pong gustong gumamit ng mikropono dahil parang napunuan ng kalawayan,” he said in jest.
This prompted Joker Beat to express his disappointment. “Balang araw po makakabili Rin ako sarili kopong microphone, para hindi Napo ako laitin, may awa po ang dyos (emojis) sa lahat po ng mga nakasuporta sakin maraming salamat po, Hindi kopo kayo kayang Isa isahin sa sobrang dami nyo pong nag mamahal sakin. Pagpalain po kayo ng panginoon,” he noted.
