Gov. Roel Degamo’s Wife Speaks on Cong. Arnie Teves
ROEL DEGAMO’S WIFE – Pamplona Mayor Janice Degamo spoke about Negros Oriental 3rd District Representative Arnie Teves.
The investigations regarding the death of Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo are ongoing. The Governor died last March 4 following an attack lodged by men wearing pixelated uniform in his compound in Pamplona.
Gov. Degamo obtained multiple shots. He was rushed to the hospital but he did not survive, His ally and several civilians who were at his compound on a Saturday to seek for help also died due to the incident.
Gov. Roel Degamo’s wife called for justice to the national government over the death of her husband. Pamplona Mayor Janice Degamo stressed that her husband does not deserve that kind of death.
One of the names dragged in the investigation after one of the suspects accused him as the alleged mastermind behind the killing of the Governor is Negros Oriental 3rd District Representative Arnie Teves.
However, Teves has yet to return to the Philippines since he left abroad. His travel clearance expired last March 9 but he refused to go home as he is concerned about his safety. The House of Representatives suspended him for 60 days from his congressional seat.
Pamplona Mayor Janice Degamo is pushing for the expulsion of Rep. Arnie Teves from the Congress. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Gov. Roel Degamo’s wife claimed that something is wrong with the Congressman.
“There is something wrong with this man [Cong. Teves]. We don’t want a person na talagang may mga unruly behavior at may mga cruelty na ginagawa sa mga tao na patuloy na magrerepresinta ng isang distrito,” Mayor Janice said.
Gov. Roel Degamo’s wife linked Cong. Arnie Teves to the deaths of “20 to 30” people. Regarding the said claims, the camp of the Congressman challenges those who have accusations against the lawmaker to prove them in the proper forum.
