Stomach Girl and boyfriend finally speaks on Pinoy Henyo cheating issue
PINOY HENYO CHEATING ISSUE – The couple who allegedly cheated on the segment of Eat Bulaga have finally broken their silence.
In an interview via Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (KMJS), Lyka and Ryan, the couple who caught in the act cheating in the said segment, apologized after earning a massive criticism online.
According to lyka, it was not her intention to say the word “stomach”. She noted that she was only driven by her emotion. “Pasensya na po kung sa tingin niyo may pandadayang naganap pero hindi ko po intensyon na mandaya.”
Lyka’s mother was also interviewed by KMJS. She turned emotional while apologizing to the public for the mistake committed by her daughter and her boyfriend.
Ryan on the other hand explained his side after allegedly signaling the word “Abra” in the jackpot round. He said he was not aware of saying the word. “Parang nati-tense po ako na sana masabi niya yung pinapahula sa kanya.”
Lyka also made a clarification that she had been looking at the hosts to get the timing she need to be able to say the answer. The issue earned her a monicker as “Stomach Girl”.
Meanwhile, the couple is ready to face all the consequences brought by their mistake. Despite what happened, the two were thankful that the management of Eat Bulaga did not took the money they won, though they have all the reason to get the prize from them.
Ryan said he given half of it to his family and save the other half for his future studies while Lyka gave her part to her parents at the same time her tuition fees.
When asked how they dealt with bashers, Ryan said that he was sad by the criticisms they are receiving. He then shared that they have deactivated their account after what happened. Lyka, for her part, asked the bashers to stop criticizing them.
In the said interview, the also shared the lesson that they have learned from the issue.
