BARBIE IMPERIAL – The actress recently spoke about the “crucial moment” after breaking up with actor Diego Loyzaga
Barbie said that the goal she promised she would try to achieve this year is to learn how to be happy even when she’s alone.
According to a report on Inquirer, Barbie shared that she was able to achieve this “new version” of herself shortly after her breakup with the actor last February 2022. The actress said that it was a “crucial moment” as she became “overly dependent on his company” for more than a year.
“After the breakup, I thought, ‘This always happens to me. Why don’t I try changing things?’” she said, adding that it had been “challenging” because she’s also close to Diego’s mom Teresa Loyzaga.
The actress also said that she survived with a lot of help from her mentors whenever she was going through “something difficult” and she appreciated that they were always there for her.

Barbie also shared that her 2022 was “like a roller-coaster ride”, but she learned a lot from her experiences in 2022. She added that she’s excited to make more movies in 2023.
The actress also said that “happiness from within” is most important for her.
“True happiness is being happy even when you’re on your own,” Barbie shared. “A person who is happy from within doesn’t need other people’s company to feel complete.”
Meanwhile, the actress starred in RC delos Reyes’ romantic drama film “I Love Lizzy,” which also featured actor Carlo Aquino. The said movie will be shown in cinemas nationwide starting January 18, 2023.
According to a report, the said film is one of three collaborations between Star Cinema and Mavx Productions.
