Netizens noticed that the Monday motivation of Mimiyuuuh was too “shady” this time
MIMIYUUUH – The Monday motivation video of the famous vlogger has gone viral, garnering mixed reactions from the netizens.
The vlogger and YouTuber whose real name is Jeremy Lomibao Sancebuche rose to fame after posting a video lip syncing to the song “Dalagang Pilipina” by ALLMO$T.
Earlier today, he went on social media and posted a motivational message to those who are going to school or reporting to work. However, some internet users noticed that his words were too “shady” this time.
“Oh bakit ka sad? Kasi back-to-work na naman tayo? alam mo ‘wag ka nang malungkot kasi mamaya may magalit… kimmy lang, kimmy lang,” he began.
He then advised his followers not to be sad because someone might make a “long post” out of it. But, he claimed, he was only joking. He later retracted his statement, saying that it was the HR who might make a lengthy post.
It can be recalled that online personality Donnalyn Bartolome made a buzz online in the past few days because of her “back to work” post. The social media influencer is wondering why many employees are sad when they return to work after the holidays. She exclaimed that they should be happy because there is another chance to improve their lives and the lives of their families.
Because of her statement, she earned backlash from netizens with some calling her “inconsiderate,” “insensitive,” and spreader of “toxic positivity”. She was even mocked as “Patron Saint of Labor and Employment”.
