Grade 12 Student Gets Hollow Block During Exchange Gift
EXCHANGE GIFT – A grade 12 student goes viral after receiving a hollow block as an exchange gift during their Christmas party.
A Facebook user named Ruevan Demecillo has shared a video clip of their exchange gift during Christmas party at school. The video immediately goes viral and earns reactions from the netizens.
Demecillo was quite disappointed after receiving the gift. He received a hollow block during their exchange gift worth P50 with a theme of “Something Weird”. Aside from him, his classmates also received weird gifts.
“Nang binuksan ko, tawang-tawa yung mga nasa paligid ko, hindi naman ako nagalit, dismayado lang kasi inisip ko pano bibitbitin eh gagala pa kami” Ruevan said.
At first, Ruevan wonders why his gift is quite heavy and eventually discovered that it was a piece of hollow block. However, he still appreciates the effort of the giver.
“Salamat kase ngayon lng ako nakatanggap ng ganon sa buong buhay ko na appriciate ko naman ket papano makakabuo ako ng bahay dahil don. Next time po simento naman hehe,” the student said.
The student leaves the hollow block at the school’s garden. It is quite useful because it served as a wall to protect the plants.
“Nilagay ko po sa garden ng school namin. Doon ko po nilapag sa may halamanan kasi hindi ko naman po mabubuhat iyon pauwi kasi ang bigat kaya doon ko na lang po nilagay sa halamanan para po pang harang,” Demecillo said.
