Singer Jovit Baldivino passes away at the age of 29
JOVIT BALDIVINO – The first-ever Pilipinas Got Talent winner died at the age of 29.
Jovit Baldivino rose to fame when he emerged as the first-ever winner of Pilipinas Got Talent in 2010. In 2011, he won the GMMSF Box-Office Entertainment Awards as a Promising Singer/Performer.
He also ventured into acting and has starred in a couple of shows such as Growing Up and Juan Dela Cruz alongside Coco Martin. After being involved in a series of controversies, he lied low from showbiz but still continue doing gigs and shows.
Previously, Ronilo Dagos, a correspondent of Abante reported that the singer allegedly collapsed at a party in Batangas City last December 4 and was taken to the hospital. The latter underwent surgery on December 5 and was then brought to Jesus of Nazareth Hospital’s intensive care unit.
After days in the ICU, Jovit Baldivino succumbed possibly due to an aneurysm, which occurs when a section of an artery wall weakens, allowing it to balloon out or widen abnormally.
His partner Camille Ann Miguel took to the social networking site, Facebook wherein she confirmed the passing of the singer by posting a photo with him with the caption: “ASAWA KO (crying emojis).” Her post was flooded with condolences from the netizens.
