Dennis Trillo: “At least ngayon natutunan ko na yung mga pagkukulang ko dati and mas nagagawa ko na ng mabuti ngayon”
DENNIS TRILLO — After welcoming baby Dylan last April, the Kapuso actor recently spoke about being a hands-on father to his baby.
Dennis and his wife, actress Jennylyn Mercado, have been sharing some sweet moments with her on social media after they welcomed their unica hija last April.
He shared in an interview on “Updated with Nelson Canlas” podcast that his experience with baby Dylan was his first time being a hands-on dad.
“Hindi ako nakatutok [sa eldest son, Calix] talaga katulad ng nagagawa ko ngayon [kay Dylan] na kahit papaano nakakalungkot pero at the same time realization na, alam mo ‘yun, mga bata pa kami nun,” Dennis said.
Calix is the teenage son of Dennis with his ex-girlfriend Carlene Aguilar.

According to him, he learned his past shortcomings and he’s doing better now because it’s like he’s making an effort in order for him to make up for those past shortcomings.
The actor also gave an example of his routine as a hands-on dad to their newborn. Dennis shared that he normally takes a shower upon arriving home from work and would still do his dad duties even if he finished taping late.
He also shared that he and his wife keep timers for their baby in order for them to know when she needs to be fed and when her diaper needs to be changed.
Although he and his wife have yet to fully reveal baby Dylan’s face, the actor said that they will introduce their baby “very soon” on their YouTube channel.
