Google To Launch Android 11 ‘Beta’ Via Live Stream

Google will have its launch event for Android 11 “Beta” via live stream.

Google officially announced that the company decided to have its exclusive “beta” launch event for its upcoming mobile operating system, the Android 11.

This, as Google I/O 2020 — Google’s annual developers’ conference — had been canceled due to the ongoing pandemic caused by the coronavirus disease 2019, as such, the company decided to have its virtual event via live stream.

Google was about to host its launch event on June 3, 2020, for the Beta release of Android 11. In addition, the live stream would start at 15:00 UTC (11:00 p.m. PH time) and will last for about an hour.

Along with the said launch, Google will also make 12 available talks which were initially scheduled for the Google I/O 2020.

The said talks would include the following: updates in the Android operating system, updates in its System UI, privacy features of Android 11, storage access with Android 11, state of Kotlin Programming Language on Android mobile operating system, and “Get Composed”. Also, remaining talks would include updates in Android Jetpack, Android Development Tools, Design Tools, Google Play, and Play Commerce, as well as large, small, and foldable screen updates.
