Generous Female Doctor Bartered Brand New Electric Fan for ‘Kamyas’ Fruit
A female doctor identified as Jessica Atas earned praises online after bartering her brand new electric fan for ‘Kamyas’ fruit.
A Facebook user named Jessica Atas who is working as an optometrist has been praised by the online community for showing an act of kindness. She bartered a new electric fan to a few pieces of ‘Kamyas’ or averrhoa bilimbi.
The 28-year-old doctor saw the post of Nanay Aurora Sarcos Dela Torre’s daughter at the Bacolod Barter Community Facebook page offering their electric fan in exchange for rice. The electric fan is already used and defective.
Atas purchased a new electric fan and asked the family what they can offer in exchange of electric fan. Nanay Aurora initially offered their stuff toy but she refused to accept it and asked for cheaper items.
The poor lady offered ‘Iba’ or popularly known as Kamyas and the doctor accepted it without any hesitation. Jessica personally delivered the new fan to Nanay Aurora. The online community lauded the optometrist for her kindness and generosity.
