Here’s what happened to the mansion of Willie Revillame amid the Taal eruption
Wowowin host Willie Revillame shared the condition of his mansion in Tagaytay amid the eruption of Taal volcano since January 12.
One of the many properties of the game show host is located near Taal volcano. Indeed, it has a picturesque view that would have a calming effect.
However, since it was near the Taal volcano that recently erupted, the mansion of Willie was also affected by ashfall. According to a report from the Philippine Entertainment Portal, the TV host was able to capture a video of the eruption while he was flying with his chopper.
It is known to many that Willie is now a licensed pilot after taking up flying lessons. The report stated that he was practicing on his chopper when the eruption happened. That is why he really witnessed the volcano spewing thick smoke on the air.
According to entertainment columnist Cristy Fermin, she immediately contacted Willie Revillame when news of the eruption circulated. She asked how was the host amid the eruption.

Willie jokingly answered, “Heto, nasa mismong loob nga ako ng bulkan, medyo mainit lang. Salamat sa pag-alala, wala na ako du’n, lumipad na kami pabalik ng Manila kanina pa.”
The host was safe but his mansion definitely suffered from the ashfall. Based on the report, his property was full of ashes and mud as it is near the Taal Lake.
