Willie Revillame Reacts to Former Intern’s Claims

Willie Revillame Defends Himself Against Former Intern’s Allegations

WILLIE REVILLAME – The television host denied the viral claim that people working on his former show were not allowed to look at, approach, or speak to him.

The issue started after a man named Dex Conche introduced himself in a podcast as a former intern of the program and shared stories about strict rules involving the host. Willie addressed the controversy during a live episode of his show and said the accusations were false and misleading.

According to Willie Revillame, many negative stories and attacks against him are spreading on social media, and he urged the public not to immediately believe everything they see online. He explained that he was not even aware that there were interns or on-the-job trainees assigned during that time because his dressing room was located backstage and was usually isolated from other people working in the studio. He also said that he has always been playful and friendly with the people around him, making the accusation difficult for him to understand.

“Siraulo ‘tong batang ‘to. Gustong sumikat, eh. Pati ako gagamitin n’yo? Paano mo masasabing bawal akong tignan, eh lahat nga ng makikita ko, niloloko ko. ‘Di ba? Binibiro ko,” he said.

The host became emotional while discussing the issue and suggested that the former intern may only be trying to gain attention or popularity by involving his name. Willie questioned how someone could make such claims when he supposedly had never even met or personally known the individual making the statements. He also expressed frustration over what he described as fake stories circulating online, especially now that there are reports about the possible return of his former television program, Wowowin.

Willie challenged the former intern to personally meet him and explain the claims face-to-face. Despite his anger, he ended his statement with advice, saying that he hopes the young man finishes his studies, builds a good future, and avoids spreading false information.
