Is Mystica Really a General Manager? Netizens React
MYSTICA – The former singer and comedienne faced criticism online after claiming to be a general manager at Burger King in the United States. In a Facebook video she posted, Mystica shared a glimpse of her 30-minute break at work, adding in the caption that she was the restaurant’s “General Manager.”
However, some netizens questioned the truth of her job title. They pointed out that her uniform looked similar to that of a regular service crew member, not someone in a managerial position. One commenter even said, “Prang nasa order taking sya d nmn gnyan ang general manager Jusko nmn ayaw p mgpkatotoo.” Others argued that general managers usually don’t take timed breaks like regular employees and often don’t wear the same uniforms as the crew.
Another netizen criticized her further, saying, “its obviously ur station is on DT. tanggap naman namin ano position mo jan. Honesty is the best Policy.” Someone else added, “eme. managers dont wear this type of uniform. obviously u work as a crew and thats fine.”
Mystica, however, didn’t stay silent. In response to one of the doubters, she encouraged them to call or visit the store to verify her claim. She even provided the store’s phone number and address, saying, “Go or call them and ask if I am really a General Manager or not before they will transfer me next month to another location closer to me.”
Supporters of Mystica came to her defense, criticizing those who doubted her. One fan responded to a basher by saying, “alam mo yung cover photo mo di tugma sa attitude mo.hay may mamema ka lang kay mommy Mystica. Wag masyado mapanghusga sa kapwa.napakanega mo kay mommy.kung miserable ka sa buhay wag mandamay. Si mommy natutuwa sya ibahagi ang nangyayari sa buhay nya. Ikaw eme ka naman.”
