President Marcos Criticizes Russian Vlogger for Offensive Content
VITALY ZDOROVETSKIY – President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. recently expressed his disapproval of the Russian vlogger, referring to him as “crazy” after watching the foreigner’s offensive videos mocking Filipinos.
In a social media post, the president remarked, “Sira ulo rin. Hindi naman Pilipino, puwede ko bang murahin?”. Marcos Jr. mentioned that he would discuss the issue further in his vlog on April 14.
Zdorovetskiy, labeled an “undesirable alien,” is facing criminal charges for allegedly harassing security guards and stealing an industrial fan from a restaurant while livestreaming at a mall in Taguig City on March 31. His behavior further outraged the public when he verbally assaulted a Filipino surfing instructor in Boracay with vulgar and s*xually degrading remarks during a safety briefing.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) announced that Zdorovetskiy would not be deported immediately. Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla emphasized that the vlogger would face legal consequences in the Philippines, stressing that foreigners should not think they can disrespect Filipinos. Remulla added that “no special treatment” would be given to Zdorovetskiy. He will be held in a regular detention facility, and legal procedures will follow the proper process.

The Department of Tourism also expressed support for law enforcement efforts to ensure that Zdorovetskiy, who gained fame for his daring and controversial pranks, is held accountable for his actions. Remulla reminded both foreign and local vloggers to be responsible when creating content, stating that social media platforms carry the responsibility not to harm or shame others. He further warned: “Kung gusto niyo’ng pakakitaan ang mga katarantaduhan n’yo, handa kayo dapat pagbayaran lahat ‘yon.”
Authorities are currently investigating the identity of Zdorovetskiy’s cameraman, who was reportedly involved in the incident.
