Ogie Diaz Asks Marjorie Barretto about Claims of Dennis Padilla
MARJORIE BARRETTO – The former actress emphasized to her ex-husband, Dennis Padilla, that the wedding of Claudia was not about him.
Ogie Diaz recently released two (2) videos showing his interview with Marjorie. It came after Dennis had an interview with him about his frustration on not being given a significant role in the wedding of their daughter, Claudia, and allegedly not being treated well.
Marjorie Barretto cleared a lot of issues like the walking down the aisle of Claudia. Dennis Padilla previously claimed that he was not given the chance to walk his daughter down the aisle. According to the former actress, it was their daughter’s decision that she did not want to be walked by her father down the aisle. The former actress also met her halfway for her veil.
During the interview with Ogie Diaz, Marjorie Barretto stressed that Dennis Padilla could have given that day to their daughter as it was her wedding day. According to her, everyone was emotional when Claudia walked down the aisle and she was beautiful.
“Ang mga guests ‘dun nag-iiyakan, ang mga kapatid. Wow! Claudia is getting married. Bakit ang iniiyak mo ang hindi ka nakalakad? This is not about you… Wala sa lugar ang mga iniiyak mo. Tungkol pa rin sa’yo to. Ang parent’s love is a sacrificial love…. Binigay mo na sana ‘yung araw na ‘yun sa bata.“
Marjorie stressed that Dennis did not raise, take care, and protect Claudia. He could have given her the happiest day of her life. According to the former actress, her ex-husband was allegedly mad and was causing a commotion during the wedding. She also claimed that Dennis’ friends with good intention tried to stop him but he got mad at them as well.
“Parang inapi siya mula dumating hanggang umalis. Sinong mag-aapi sa kanya? We were all focused on the bride and the groom. Listening to the homily of the priest. Sinong nananakit sa’yo? Kung nale-left out ka, wala ka kasi sa buhay ng mga anak mo, eh. Mas gusto mo kasing magpa-interview, eh.”
During the interview, Marjorie Barretto also claimed that Dennis Padilla was asking for a program although there was really no program. She stressed that the wedding was very “straightforward”. She stressed that she did not plan the wedding as there were coordinators that were in charge for it. The former actress also denied the claim of her ex-husband that the coordinators were allegedly crying and sympathizing with him saying that they were strict and actually do not show emotions.
“Nothing about this wedding was about you. Hindi bawat sulyap ng anak ko was about ko. Hindi ‘yung pag-walk down the aisle niya was about you. Nothing about this wedding was about you or me. This is about them.”
According to Marjorie Barretto, Dennis Padilla allegedly rejected their children when they asked for financial help. She stressed that it was hard to raise their children alone but she is ready to be their strength until the end of her life.
