Woman Debating with Quiboloy Supporter Over His Claim as the ‘Appointed Son of God’ Goes Viral

Woman Confronts Quiboloy Supporter Over His Claim as the ‘Appointed Son of God’

PASTOR APOLLO QUIBOLOY – A debate between a woman from Iloilo and a supporter of the senatorial candidate regarding his claim that the controversial religious leader is the “Appointed Son of God” has gone viral online.

In the video, the woman, identified as Jane Borres Agsamosam, can be heard questioning the supporter about which passage in the Bible states that Quiboloy—who is currently facing multiple charges and is wanted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation—is actually the Appointed Son of God.

The debate intensified when the supporter referenced Revelation 21:7, which states, “He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.” (King James Version). The supporter claimed that this verse referred to Quiboloy.

However, the woman argued that Pastor Apollo Quiboloy’s name is nowhere to be found in the Bible and pointed out that many people who have overcome hardships could also be considered sons of God. She questioned why Quiboloy alone is being given this title when others have also overcome challenges, which, by that logic, should make them sons of God as well.

She then asked the supporter, if Quiboloy is the Son of God, then who is the son of the demon? To this, her male companion jokingly replied that the supporter himself was the son of the demon.

The woman and her companion later stated that if Quiboloy could clear his name of the charges against him, they might consider voting for him. The supporter, however, insisted that Quiboloy, who is running under the PDP-Laban party, would win by a landslide in the upcoming election.

After their argument, the supporter of the infamous religious leader left. As of press time, their debate has gone viral, garnering mixed reactions from netizens.
