Marco Adobas Addresses Disqualification Issue
MARCO ADOBAS – A contestant disqualified from TNT All-Star Grand Resbak 2025 has addressed the controversy surrounding his removal from the competition. In a Facebook post, he clarified that he had already discussed the issue with It’s Showtime management and assured everyone that the matter had been resolved.
Adobas publicly apologized for his actions, admitting that he was overwhelmed by his emotions when he made a controversial social media post. He has since deleted the post and expressed regret for any misunderstanding it may have caused. “Sa mga wala pong alam sa nangyari. May pag uusap na po sa pagitan ng management ng showtime. At ako po ay humingi ng kapatawaran sa aking nagawa at okay na po ang lahat. Ako po ay nadala ng bugso ng aking emosyon. Kaya sana po ay maunawaan niyo na,” he shared online.
A netizen pointed out his deleted post, to which Adobas responded by reaffirming that the issue had been settled and that he had personally apologized to the show’s management.
TNT All-Star Grand Resbak 2025 is a special edition of Tawag ng Tanghalan, featuring 48 returning contestants competing in teams—Alab, Alon, Amihan, and Agimat. This season introduces new judges, including Pops Fernandez and Lani Misalucha, adding to the excitement of the competition.
Meanwhile, Tawag ng Tanghalan (TNT) is a singing competition that first aired in 1954 and was revived in 2016 as a segment of It’s Showtime. It showcases amateur singers from different parts of the Philippines and abroad, competing for the title of grand champion. Contestants go through daily, weekly, and grand finals, where they are judged based on vocal quality, stage presence, and overall performance.
The show has produced many successful singers, including some who later became well-known in the Philippine music industry. Over the years, TNT has introduced several formats, including TNT Kids, TNT Celebrity Champions, and TNT All-Star Grand Resbak, where past contestants return for another chance to win.
