Xian Gaza to Derek Ramsay: “Puso ng Saging lang kay Andi pero yung kaibigan mo ginastusan”

Xian Gaza Questions Derek Ramsay Over Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo Issue

XIAN GAZA – The social media personality questioned Derek Ramsay after the actor defended his friend, Swedish marine photographer Pernilla Sjöo, against accusations of being a “homewrecker.”

The issue began when netizens noticed that Pernilla and Philmar Alipayo, Andi Eigenmann’s fiancé, had matching “224” tattoos. This sparked criticism, with some speculating about the nature of their relationship. In response, Derek spoke out, revealing that Pernilla had been receiving online backlash and even threats. He defended her, saying she had reached out to apologize for the tattoo but was instead accused of wrongdoing.

In an interview with Ogie Diaz, Derek admitted his frustration with Philmar’s reaction, which he felt downplayed the situation. He acknowledged that Andi had the right to feel betrayed but believed the issue should have been resolved privately instead of being aired online.

Following Derek’s statements, Xian Gaza posted screenshots of Philmar’s Valentine’s Day surprise for Andi. The surfer gave his fiancée a bouquet of flowers picked from their garden and a heart of a banana tree (“puso ng saging”). Xian then directed a question at Derek, saying, “Puso ng Saging lang kay Andi pero yung kaibigan mo ginastusan, nagbayad ng malaki sa tattoo artist. Gusto ko lang marinig ‘yung opinyon mo, Sir. I respect you kasi. Kaya nga hindi kita binash”

Clarifying his intent, Xian added in the comments that he wasn’t attacking Derek but genuinely wanted to hear his opinion. He also urged netizens to avoid spreading hate.

Meanwhile, Derek continued to stand by Pernilla, emphasizing that he was not against Andi or Philmar. However, he criticized Andi for making the issue public and Philmar for not taking responsibility.

“You should have handled that in private,” Derek told Philmar. He further stated that 80% of the blame fell on him for getting the tattoo and failing to own up to his mistake. “Own it and maybe I will have some respect for you.”
