Actor Sam Milby Confirmed his Breakup with Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray
SAM MILBY – After confirming his breakup with Catriona Gray, the actor spoke on the issue tagging Moira dela Torre as the 3rd party in their split.
It has been a year since rumors that Sam and Catriona have broken up started crossing the surface. Eagle-eyed netizens also spotted many hints seemingly proving the speculations that the two (2) celebrities have ended their engagement.
Sam Milby and Catriona Gray confirmed that they were officially together in 2020. In 2023, the two (2) celebrities announced that they are engaged. It sparked excitement among countless Filipinos for the match-made-in-Heaven couple.
Catriona previously revealed that she and Sam planned to officially tie the knot in 2024. However, unexpectedly, breakup rumors involving the two (2) celebrities crossed the surface early in 2024 instead. Netizens also spotted that the Miss Universe 2018 has deleted her engagement photos with the actor.
Recently, Sam Milby confirmed that he and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray have ended their engagement. The confirmation took place in an interview with ABS-CBN News at the sidelines of the media conference for his newest series Saving Grace.
Sam stressed that he and Catriona are in good terms. Based on the report, the actor also broke his silence on third party issues regarding his split with the Miss Universe 2018.
Ballad singer Moira dela Torre who is close to Sam Milby is tagged as the alleged third party in his breakup with Catriona Gray. A video of the Miss Universe 2018 seemingly ignoring the singer on stage while greeting all the other people who were there also fueled the speculations.
Based on the report, Sam clarified that there was never a third party in his breakup with Cat. According to the actor, it makes him sad, thus, he warned the people to be extra careful on dealing with the things that they read online.
“There was never a third party sa amin ni Cat… Please mag-ingat kayo sa mga nakikita nyo sa online. If there’s no evidence, ‘wag niyong paniwalaan yung nakikita nyo because in this incident, there’s absolutely no truth to it at all,” Sam expressed.
Sam Milby stressed that he and Moira dela Torre used to be “very close” and he thinks that some people just want to give a different meaning to their closeness. Currently, the actor is focusing on his work and he also deals with his Diabetes Type 2.
It was in June last year when Sam admitted dealing with a health condition he did not expect.
