Catriona Gray on wedding date: “Oh gosh, mga next year…”
CATRIONA GRAY – The Miss Universe 2018 titleholder recently shared that she and her fiancé Sam Milby are set to get married “next year”.
Celebrity couple Sam Milby and Catriona Gray got engaged earlier this year. At that time, the couple surprised the public when they both officially announced it on their respective social media accounts.
Catriona appeared in the latest vlog of doctor to the stars Vicki Belo where she spoke about her life, her career, and her fiancé.
In the said interview, Catriona said that she and Sam is set to tie the knot “next year”. The beauty queen didn’t disclose a specific date “next year” as she shared that they’re currently enjoying their engagement with one another.
The beauty queen recalled how it wasn’t love at first sight for her as she had known her partner for a long time already. According to her, she and her partner have a lot of mutual friends and her stylist when she did Binibining Pilipinas was also his stylist back then.
“So, we had a lot of common friends. But it wasn’t until the end of 2018 where I had gone to Japan with Erickson (Raymundo) who is my mentor, [and] who happens to be Sam’s manager,” she said.

The beauty queen also said that she felt “apprehensive” towards him, adding that she didn’t know his true intentions at that time. However, she stressed that he never made her feel that she was being used.
The beauty queen added that the actor continued to show his true intentions despite her initial hesitation, making her falling in love with him. According to her, he never made her feel that he’s trying to use her to his advantage.
