Mark Herras Surprises Jojo Mendrez at Press Conference

Jojo Mendrez Surprised by Mark Herras at Press Conference

JOJO MENDREZ – The singer received a surprise from Mark Herras during his press conference following the signing of his contract with Star Music PH.

While performing his latest song, “Nandito Lang Ako,” Mark suddenly appeared at the venue and handed Jojo a bouquet of flowers before quickly leaving. The crowd erupted in cheers, calling the moment “sweet.”

Following the performance, the event hosts announced that Jojo was not feeling well and might not be able to continue the Q&A session. His talent management, Aqueous Entertainment, later released a statement explaining that Jojo had experienced hyperventilation due to the overwhelming atmosphere but assured everyone that he was now in good condition.

Even at the start of the event, Jojo was already emotional, overwhelmed by the media’s support. His team had to calm him down before he could proceed with the program.

Earlier in the Q&A session, Jojo was asked about the rumors linking him to Mark Herras after they were seen together at a hotel casino. The singer chose not to comment, saying, “Kasi kahit sabihin kong hindi, walang ganu’n (relasyon), iba pa rin ang paniniwalaan nila. So, saan ako lalagay?

He also shared how the controversy had affected his family and friends.

Notably, Jojo is known for reviving the classic song “Somewhere In My Past” by the late actress-singer Julie Vega, composed by Mon del Rosario, who was also present at the press conference.
