Jellie Aw Seeks Legal Action Against Fiancé Jam Ignacio
JELLIE AW – The disc jockey and social media influencer has formally filed a complaint against her fiancé, Jam Ignacio, at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in San Fernando, Pampanga. The complaint follows Aw’s social media posts showing disturbing images of her bruised and bloodied face, allegedly caused by Ignacio’s physical abuse.
Accompanied by friends, Aw visited the NBI office to pursue legal action but declined to answer questions from the press. While she has remained silent publicly, she has been actively sharing messages of support from friends and followers on Instagram. In a heartfelt post, she expressed gratitude to those offering prayers and encouragement, saying, “Lubos po akong nagpapasalamat sa mga nag-message sa’kin na nagpaparating ng kanilang suporta at panalangin. Sa ngayon po ay kailangan ko muna magpahinga. Maraming salamat pong muli.”
Aw first revealed the alleged abuse in a Facebook post, describing her ordeal and vowing to take legal action against Ignacio. “HAPPY VALENTINES? (Explicit word) Jam Ignacio mapapatay moko wala akong ginawang masamA para ganituhin moko halos mamatay ako sa ginawa mo! papalukong kita!,” she wrote.
Prominent talent manager Ogie Diaz also spoke out, calling for justice. He revealed that Aw was able to seek help at a toll gate after her RFID balance ran out. “Grabe! Buti na lang, nawalan ng laman ang RFID, kaya nakahingi ng tulong si Ate sa toll gate teller. Ayoko namang mag-judge, pero Jam Ignacio, harapin mo ito. O, doon sa mga women’s rights advocates nating mga tumatakbo diyan, baka pwede n’yong matulungan si ate. Eto na ang right timing na hinihintay n’yo,” Diaz stated.
Meanwhile, Jellie Aw is a well-known DJ, dancer, singer, and vlogger with a strong following on TikTok. She was named the “World’s Sexiest DJ” in the Philippines in 2020 and has represented brands like Evogen and Sandrealee. She has also been involved with the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) as a Frontrow Luxxe White Angel. Aw announced her engagement to Ignacio in November 2024.
