Derek Ramsay Calls Out Philmar and Andi Over Pernilla’s Controversial Issue
DEREK RAMSAY – The actor spoke out about the controversy involving his friend, Pernilla Sjöö, and the celebrity couple, Philmar Alipayo and Andi Eigenmann.
The issue began after Pernilla celebrated her 10-year friendship with Philmar by getting matching tattoos, which allegedly prompted Andi to post cryptic messages about someone encouraging her to break up with Philmar.
Frustrated, Derek criticized Philmar for not addressing the situation properly and for disrespecting Pernilla, who had supported him. “Philmar, magpakalalake ka. Ayusin mo ang problema mo sa asawa mo, pero huwag mong bastusin si Pernilla na tumulong sa lahat ng problema mo. Ikaw okay ka na, paano si Pernilla, umiiyak. Andi what is your intent to all of this?” he said, questioning Andi’s motives.
Derek further defended Pernilla, stating that he trusts her completely and could even share a bed with her without his wife, Ellen Adarna, doubting their relationship. He also suggested that Pernilla should consider legal action.
Meanwhile, Pernilla Sjöö has finally addressed the rumors linking her to Philmar Alipayo, Andi Eigenmann’s fiancé, amid speculations about their possible breakup. On Facebook, Pernilla apologized for the backlash she has faced and reaffirmed her love for the Philippines.
“I just don’t understand why some people have so much hate in their minds and bodies. I hope that if you ever make a hurtful comment, you can still sleep peacefully at night and smile knowing you’ve caused someone pain. I’m still human din naman. I still feel hurt, and when it’s too much, it cuts deep,” she said.
She also shared an emotional message, originally posted on her private Instagram, expressing confusion over the hate she has received. She expressed how hurtful comments can deeply affect her, reminding people that they, too, are human and capable of feeling pain. Pernilla called for kindness and understanding, urging others not to judge situations without knowing the full story. She ended by asking people to be kinder to one another, emphasizing that respect and compassion should come first.
