Andi Eigenmann Addresses Rumors About Philmar Alipayo
ANDI EIGENMANN – The former actress clarified that she does not believe her husband, Philmar Alipayo, cheated on her. She addressed the issue involving a woman who got matching tattoos with him, explaining that while Philmar never had an affair, this woman repeatedly encouraged him to leave their marriage during conflicts.
According to Andi, she and Philmar recently had a fight, after which this woman inserted herself into the situation by suggesting they get matching tattoos. Andi questioned the timing, asking why the woman suggested this when Philmar was vulnerable instead of when things were stable.
Andi attempted to speak with the woman for clarification, but she was ignored. She admitted feeling hurt by Philmar’s actions, emphasizing that a real friend would not encourage a married man to do something inconsiderate of his wife’s feelings. She also revealed that this same woman had previously gotten a tattoo dedicated to Philmar, which she and her husband had already found unusual. Looking back, Andi regretted not setting boundaries sooner, especially after hearing that some of her friends had warned their partners to keep their distance from the woman.
The controversy escalated when Andi and Philmar unfollowed each other on Instagram, fueling breakup rumors. Both posted cryptic messages about the situation, with Andi stating that she ignored red flags because the woman had been Philmar’s friend before she entered the picture. She realized that setting boundaries in a relationship is not toxic but necessary.
Philmar, on the other hand, responded vaguely, saying, “For whatever you all read is true, then so be it,” and sarcastically added that people could now call him a cheater.
The couple, who have been engaged since 2020 and live in Siargao with their two children, previously faced controversy when Philmar was seen out with another woman. At the time, Andi defended him, saying he had the right to socialize but knew his limits.
