Man Dies in Rizal After Being Stabbed Over Alleged Bullying Incident
An alleged bully reportedly lost his life after being fatally stabbed by neighbor with an ice pick in Taytay, Rizal.
On Tuesday afternoon (February 11, 2025), a 30-year-old man dies after being stabbed with an ice pick. The incident stemmed from a long-standing conflict between the victim and a 23-year-old neighbor, who both lived in the same compound in Barangay Dolores.
According to the police investigation, the suspect invited the victim to his house to resolve their ongoing issues. However, the conversation quickly escalated, resulting in the suspect attacking the victim with an ice pick.
Witnesses claimed that the tension had been brewing for a while, with the victim reportedly accused of bullying the suspect.
After the attack, the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital by his relatives but was declared dead on arrival. The suspect, who initially fled the scene, was apprehended by authorities during a follow-up operation.
Police recovered the ice pick used in the stabbing, as well as another weapon in the suspect’s possession.
The suspect claimed that the act was in self-defense, stating that he feared for his safety due to the victim’s alleged history of violence. He admitted that anger and pent-up frustration over their past disputes drove him to act impulsively.
While expressing remorse, the suspect also acknowledged that his emotions got the better of him during the confrontation.
“Naipon na po kasi lahat ng galit ko sa kanya, kaya po ‘yun lang po ‘yung naging pagkakataon ko po para mailabas po lahat. Kaya humihingi ako ng pasensya sa pamilya,” the suspect explained.
Meanwhile, the victim’s partner, Agnes Siar, expressed her heartbreak over the incident and demanded justice. She dismissed the suspect’s justification, insisting that bullying was not a valid reason for taking someone’s life. She is hoping to bring peace and closure to their family.

The suspect is currently detained at the Taytay Police Custodial Facility and faces a murder charge.
