Torpe Student Asking His Crush to Be His Prom Date Brings ‘Kilig’ Online
A torpe student goes viral and captured the hearts of netizens after nervously asking his crush to be his prom date.
JS Prom, short for Junior-Senior Prom, is a formal event held in many high schools, usually for third-year (juniors) and fourth-year (seniors) students. It is a night of celebration where students dress in elegant attire, enjoy music and dancing, and create lasting memories with their classmates.
In many schools, asking someone to be your prom date has become a big deal, with students coming up with creative and romantic ways to invite their crush or close friend.
Recently, the Facebook page “Burgos High” shared a video of a shy high school student trying to ask his crush to be his prom date. The post quickly circulated online and elicited comments from the netizens.
In the video, the young torpe student can be seen hesitating to step out of the classroom, clearly nervous about his big moment. His classmates, noticing his struggle, handed him a flower to give to his crush.
Encouraging him to go through with his plan, they gently pushed him out of the room and guided him to the classroom where his crush was.
As he stood in front of the girl, his shyness took over, and he found it difficult to make eye contact or hand over the flower. His nervous energy was evident, but his classmates continued to cheer him on.
After a few moments, the girl finally accepted the flower, bringing excitement and joy to everyone who witnessed the sweet interaction. Their handshake after the moment made the entire classroom react with ‘Kilig’.
Once the proposal was complete, the student quickly returned to his classroom, still visibly overwhelmed by the experience. The video described his struggle, showing how difficult it can be for shy people to express their feelings.
The video has a caption:
