Philip Laude Files Privacy Petition Against Precious Larra Su
PHILIP LAUDE – The husband of Small Laude has filed a writ of habeas data petition against Mae Larra Sumicad, also known as Precious Larra Su, following a viral controversy that erupted in December 2024.
The case stems from screenshots of an Instagram direct message exchange that surfaced on social media. The screenshots allegedly depicted a conversation between a man, believed to be Philip, and a woman named Precious Larra, which suggested an intimate relationship between the two. The images showed a photo of a man and a woman with their hands intertwined, further fueling speculations online.
Philip Laude is a businessman, the husband of popular YouTube star Small Laude, who boasts millions of subscribers and followers across multiple platforms. Small, who is known for her brand endorsements and online presence, regularly features her husband in her vlogs, which often gain substantial views. Together, they have shared their travels to various destinations such as Japan, Prague, Greece, and Hong Kong.
Despite the controversy, neither Philip nor Small publicly addressed the issue while the screenshots continued to circulate. It was only on January 16, 2025, that it was reported that Philip had formally filed the writ of habeas data petition in the Pasig Regional Trial Court. This legal action aims to protect his privacy rights, as the information allegedly gathered and shared in the screenshots may have violated his right to privacy.
