Family of Grab Driver Considers Filing Charges Against Student Over Her Accusation
GRAB DRIVER vs. STUDENT – The family of Grab driver Jerricho Narvaez is considering legal action against student Daniella Charlize Ramos, who accused him of inappropriate behavior during a ride.
Ramos publicly posted that Narvaez had been fantasizing about her while driving. However, it was later revealed that she could not provide sufficient evidence to support her claim. According to Ramos, her only evidence was Narvaez’s “heavy breathing” during the ride.
The embattled Grab driver responded by clarifying that his heavy breathing was due to his weight and fullness, and he denied any inappropriate actions. He also emphasized that Ramos had no proof of any misconduct, including her claim that he exposed himself. Narvaez added that when Ramos confronted him, he was confused and asked why they had requested to end the ride. He further mentioned that the audio recording from Grab’s “Audio Protect” feature could validate his side of the story.
After receiving significant backlash online, Daniella Charlize Ramos locked her social media profile, making it difficult for Narvaez’s family to reach her. Narvaez’s relatives, concerned about the harm to his reputation, pointed out that even past passengers had noticed his breathing issues. They highlighted that Narvaez has never been involved in such issues over the 35 years he has been part of their family. His primary concern has always been providing for his two daughters and raising them with love and good values.
If Daniella Charlize Ramos does not respond to the family, they plan to take legal action. As of now, Ramos has not made any public statements regarding the matter. Meanwhile, Grab, the popular ride-hailing service, has not issued any statements about the issue.
