Breadwinner Saddened After Being Scolded by Father “kulang pa lahat ng tulong mo”

Netizen Shares Struggles as Breadwinner After Father Calls Support ‘Not Enough’

A breadwinner shared how his father criticized him for the money spent on him since childhood, saying, “kulang pa lahat ng tulong mo”.

Recently, Reddit user, CuriousInvestor37, shared his frustration after being scolded by their dad, who claimed that all the support they’ve provided wasn’t enough compared to what was spent on them as a child. The post quickly garnered various reactions from the online community.

The breadwinner explained their story of being the family breadwinner for nine years. It started back in college when they had to rely on a scholarship and government allowance to finish their studies because his dad had stopped working at the age of 47.

Despite the struggles, he graduated and immediately took on the responsibility of supporting the family.

In 2022, after securing a job abroad, they saved up P300,000 to help their parents start a business. However, by 2023, the business failed, and their parents hid the fact that the money was gone.

Fast forward to 2024, when the netizen got married abroad, his dad started complaining again. He insisted that they should still provide financial help because he is “more successful” and he’s unemployed.

The uploader felt hurt after everything he has done for their family and hearing that it was still considered “not enough.”
