South Korean Actor Park Min-jae Passes Away
PARK MIN-JAE – The South Korean actor passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest during a trip to China at the age of 32.
His death was confirmed by his brother, who shared the news on both his and the actor’s Instagram pages on December 2. In the post, Park’s brother expressed his grief, stating, “My beloved brother has gone to rest. I hope as many people as possible can remember my brother,” and requested understanding as he could not personally contact everyone.
Park’s talent agency, Big Title, also released a statement, paying tribute to the late actor. The agency described Park as a “beautiful actor who loved acting” and expressed deep appreciation for the love and support he received throughout his career. They added, “Although I can’t see his acting anymore, I will remember him with pride as he was a Big Title actor.”
Park Min-jae’s death occurred while he was in China for a planned one-month trip, which has now turned into an indefinite journey. Big Title’s CEO, Hwang Ju Hye, reflected on the sudden loss, sharing how the actor had spoken excitedly about conquering China before his passing. Hwang expressed shock and sorrow over the unexpected and tragic event.
Park’s family is holding his wake at Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital, with the funeral scheduled for December 4 at 9:30 a.m. While the cause of death was not formally disclosed by the family or agency, it was reported by South Korean media that Park passed away due to cardiac arrest on November 29.
Park Min-jae was known for his roles in several popular Korean TV series, including Tomorrow, Little Women, and Call It Love. His death has left the entertainment industry in mourning, and fans continue to express their sorrow over the loss of such a talented and beloved actor.
